Title: Lamb Loin Chops W/ Turkish Yogurt Sauce Categories: Meats, Lamb Yield: 4 Servings 8 oz Plain yogurt 1/4 ts Cinnamon 1/4 ts Allspice 1/4 ts Salt 1/4 ts Cayenne pepper 2 cl Garlic; minced 2 tb Fresh mint; chopped 1 ts Lemon peel; grated 1 ts Honey 8 Lamb loin chops; 1 1/4-inch . thick, about 5oz each In a bowl stir together yogurt, cinnamon, allspice, salt and cayenne. Add garlic, mint, lemon peel and honey and blend well. Cover and chill 2 to 24 hours. Trim lamb chops. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 5 to 6 minutes on each side, to medium doneness. Pour yogurt sauce evenly over all.
