Title: Lasagna #05 Categories: Pasta Yield: 8 Servings 1 lb Ground beef 1 md Onion; chopped 1 cn Tomato paste 1 cn Whole tomatoes 1 cn Tomato sauce Salt & pepper to taste 1 tb Oregano 1 pk Lasagna noodles 2 c Medium white sauce 3 oz Romano cheese; grated Brown ground beef; add onions and cook until clear. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt and pepper, oregano; simmer about 40 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Add cheese to white sauce; simmer until cheese melts. In a baking dish, make layer of noodles, a layer of meat tomato mixture and a layer of cheese sauce. Repeat layers at least once more, if possible twice more. The last cheese layer can be Mozzarella cheese, if desired. Bake in a 350 degree oven until bubbly and cheese is melted. This recipe freezes well. From .
