Title: Lela's Butter Cake Categories: Brunch, Buffet dish, Cakes, Mine Yield: 12 Servings ------------------------------------CAKE------------------------------------ 1 c Margarine, (2 sticks, cubed) 2 c Sugar 3 Eggs 2 c Flour 3 Eggs 2 ts Flavoring (lemon, rum, -almond, etc), (+more if -needed) -----------------------------------GLAZE----------------------------------- 1/2 c Sugar 1 Lemon, (juice only) Ingredients for the cake are listed in the order used (the recipe uses 6 eggs). After each addition beat well. Put into greased, floured tube pan and bake at 350 deg. F for 1-1/2 hours. Glaze: Mix 1/2 cup sugar and juice of 1 lemon in pan and bring to a boil.
