Title: Lentil-Rice Stew Categories: Main dishes, Rice Yield: 1 Servings 3/4 c Celery, chopped 3/4 c Onion, chopped 1/4 c Butter 6 c Water 3/4 c Lentils, washed 32 oz Tomatoes, canned 3/4 c Brown rice 1 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 1/2 ts Rosemary 1/2 ts Garlic salt 1/2 c Carrots, shredded Saute celery and onion in butter in a large pan. Add water and lentils, cook 20 minutes. Add tomatoes, brown rice, salt, pepper, rosemary and garlic salt. Simmer 50 to 60 minutes. Add carrots.
