Title: Linsensuppe (Lentil Soup) Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 1 c Lentils; (washed) 6 c Water; (approximately) 3 Beef bouillon cubes 1 Clove garlic; (chopped fine) 1 Carrot; (diced) 1 Celery stalk; (diced) 1 tb Parsley; (chopped) 3 lg Potatoes 2 tb Vinegar Salt and pepper to taste Add the water to the washed lentils and bring to a boil. Add boullion cubes, garlic, celery, carrot, parsley and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours. Add potatoes and boil for addional 30 minutes. Add vinegar; salt and pepper to taste.
