Title: Maple-Spice Cookies Categories: Cookies, And, Bars Yield: 1 Servings 1 c Firmly packed brown sugar 1/3 c Stick margarine, softened 1 1/4 ts Maple extract 1 ts Vanilla extract 1 Egg 1 Egg white 2 c All-purpose flour 3/4 ts Baking soda 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon 1/4 ts Ground allspice 1/8 ts Ground cloves Vegetable cooking spray Cream the sugar and margarine at medium speed of a mixer until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add extracts, egg, and egg white; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves; stir well. Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well. Drop the dough by level tablespoons onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes; let cool on pans 1 minute. Remove from pans, let cool completely on wire racks.
