Title: Mom's Big Batch Sugar Cookies

Yield: 100 Servings

1 c Butter; NO substitutes
2 c Sugar
4 lg Island eggs
2 tb Half and half
5 c All-purpose flour
4 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 ts Nutmeg; freshly grated
2 ts Lime juice
1 ts Vanilla extract

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and half and half. Add flour, which
has been sifted with baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add lime juice and
vanilla extract. Mix well. Chill dough overnight OR for at least three
hours. Divide dough into 8 pieces. Roll out one piece at a time on a
floured board. Leave the remaining dough in the fridge until you're ready
to roll it out. Cut the thinly rolled dough with cookie cutters, and bake
at 350 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet for about 8 minutes until
golden. Do not let cookies brown.

Decorate with colored sugar, cookie frosting, nuts, raisins, candied fruit
or whatevers.
