Title: Never Fail Pound Cake Categories: Cake Yield: 12 Servings 2 Sticks butter or margarine 6 Eggs 3 c Flour 1/4 ts Baking powder 1 ts Lemon juice 1/2 c Crisco shortening 3 c Sugar 1/4 ts Salt 1 c Milk 1 ts Vanilla Grease one large tube pan. Cream together butter & shortening, add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add sugar a little at a time until all is added. Sift flour, salt & baking powder & alternate adding mixture & milk to the creamed mixture until all is added. Add vanilla & lemon juice & beat well.
