Orange Raisin Scones

1 3/4 c Flour
4 tb Sugar
2 1/2 ts B.powder
1/2 ts Salt
5 tb Cold butter
1/2 c White raisins
6 tb Cream
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla or orange extract
2 tb Orange zest

Combine first 4 ingredients in work bowl of processor.Process in cold
butter on pulse till coarse meal texture forms.Add cream, egg, extract and
zest, then raisins. Remove from work bowl and gently knead. Pat into a disc
about 1/2 inch thickness and score into 6 or 8 wedges. Brush w/addtional
egg white and sprinkle with sugar. Bake on greased baking sheet in
