Oregano Chicken
Title: Oregano Chicken Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 1 Chicken, cut up into pieces Olive oil, for brushing 12 Cloves garlic, peeled (more -if desired) Salt and pepper to taste 3/4 c Dry white wine 1 ts Oregano 1. With a brush, coat the chicken lightly with olive oil. Place in a baking dish, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and oregano. 2. Scatter cloves of garlic in pan amid chicken. Pour white wine into pan. 3. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour. (Shorten time if boneless chicken pieces are used.) Note: I usually scatter more garlic. We love the pieces of baked garlic, especially smeared on a piece of French bread. I usually use boneless, skinless chicken breasts, and the cooking time is about 30 minutes.
