1 c Sugar
1 c Shortening
2 c Flour
1 Egg
1 c Persimmon pulp
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Soda
1 c Raisins (dunk in wiskey)
1 c Walnuts - chopped
1/2 ts Ground Cloves
1/2 ts Nutmeg

Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and beat. Add all the rest. Drop by
tsp. and bake @ 350 - 15 mins.
