Title: Prize Cookies Categories: Cyberealm, Mom's best, Cookies Yield: 75 Servings 1 c Shortening 1 1/2 c Sugar 3 Eggs 3 c Unsifted flour 1 ts Baking soda 1/2 ts Salt 1 pk 9 oz Condensed mincemeat -crumbled (NoneSuch) 1. Preheat oven to 375F. In a large mixing bowl, beat shortening and sugar together until fluffy; add eggs and beat well. 2. Stir dry ingredients together; gradually add to shortening mixture. Mix well. Stir in mincemeat. 3. Drop by teaspoonsful 2" apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Frost with light confectioners sugar/milk/vanilla frosting. TIP: For a more cake-like cookie, substitute 1 1/3 cups (one half 27 ounce jar) None Such mincemeat Ready to use for the condensed mincemeat.
