Title: Prune Cake 2 Categories: Cakes Yield: 10 Servings 1/2 c Shortening 1 1/2 c Sugar 3 Eggs 2 c Flour 1/2 ts Salt 1 ts Baking soda 1 ts Nutmeg 1/2 ts Allspice 1 c Milk 1 c Prunes; cook in water 20 min 1/2 c Walnuts 1/2 c Apple Cream shortening, sugar, and add eggs. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, allspice. Stir in prunes, nuts and apples. Pour in 9 inch square pan or 3 round tins. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
