Title: Rice-Bottom Pizza Categories: Main course, Beef* Yield: 1 Servings -----------------------------------CRUST----------------------------------- 1 c Cooked rice; (about 1/3 cup) 1 c Grated Parmesan cheese 1 Egg; beaten 1 tb Butter or margarine ----------------------------------TOPPING---------------------------------- 1/2 lb Sausage or ground beef or -mxiture 1 Onion; diced 1/2 Green pepper; chopped -(optional) Salt and pepper; to taste 1 c Tomato paste 3 tb Water Oregano; to taste Mozzarella cheese Prepare the crust: Preheat the oven to 350F. Mix all ingredients together and place in a round baking dish or pizza pan; press the dough with a fork until 1/4" thick. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool. Prepare the topping: Mix tomato paste and water; set aside. Cook the meat with onion over medium heat, until meat is brown. Remove from heat; add peppers and S&P. When crust is cool, evely spread the tomato paste mixture and sprinkle with oregano. Spread with the meat filling; top with Mozzarella. Bake at 350F, till cheese is melted.
