Spicy Sesame Beef Salad
Title: Spicy Sesame Beef Salad Categories: Salads, Meats Yield: 1 Servings 6 Oz's cooked Sesame Ginger -Beef (Recipe below) 12 Pea pods, blanched 2 Grilled pepper halves 1 tb . each reduced sodium soy -sauce and red wine -vinegar 1 ts Oriental dark roasted -sesame oil, divided 1/2 ts Sugar 1/8 ts Hot red pepper sauce 1 tb Vegetable oil 1 c Cooked vermicelli or -Oriental noodles 1 tb . unsalted roasted peanuts Carve beef diagonally across the grain into inch thick slices; cut each slice in half. Cut pea pods in half diagonally, if large. Cut grilled pepper into thin strips, 2 x 1/4 inches. Combine beef, pea pods and pepper strips. Stir together soy sauce, vinegar, 1/2 teaspoons same oil, sugar and pepper sauce. Whisk in vegetable oil. Add dressing to beef mixture, tossing to coat; set aside. Toss vermicelli with remaining sesame oil; arrange on platter. Top with beef mixture. Garnish with peanuts. Makes 2 servi ngs. Calories per serving. 437. PREP TIME: 15 minutes.
