Title: Stuffed Pepper Pie Categories: Casserole Yield: 6 Servings 3 Green bell peppers; halved 1/4 c Chopped onion 1 c Water 2 tb Butter 1 1/3 c Instant potato flakes 1/4 c Milk 1 Egg; beaten 1 lb Sausage; cooked 1 c Mozzarella; shredded Boil peppers 15 minutes. Drain; arrange cut side up in a pie pan. Combine onion, water and butter and bring to a boil. Stir in potato flakes, milk and egg. Stir in sausage. Spoon into pie pan over peppers. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes.
