3/4 c Shortening
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 c Molasses
2 c Flour
2 ts Soda
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
3/4 ts Cloves
3/4 ts Ginger
Confectioners sugar

Heat oven to 375. Mix shortening, sugar, egg & molasses. Blend in dry
ingredients. Form 1" balls. Place 2" apart on greased sheet. Bake
10-12 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar while still warm.
