Title: Sweet and Sour Hamburgers Categories: Meat Yield: 4 Servings -----------------------------------SAUCE----------------------------------- 1/2 c Water 1/4 c Cider vinegar 1/4 c Packed brown sugar 1 cn Pineapple chunks; juice of 3 tb Packed cornstarch 1/2 ts Salt 1 tb Soy sauce -----------------------------OTHER INGREDIENTS----------------------------- 1 1/2 lb Hamburger 1/2 c Minced onion 1/2 c Sliced green bell pepper 1 cn Pineapple chunks (from -above) Fry hamburger patties smaller & thicker than for buns; brown well. Combine sauce ingredients & cook until clear & slightly thickened, stirring often. Add meat & simmer over low heat for 30 minutes or until tender. Add remaining ingredients & cook for 2 minutes.
