Title: Upside Down Gingerbread Categories: Cake Yield: 16 Servings 1 Recipe of your favorite -gingerbread 2 tb Butter 1/2 c Light molasses 1/4 c Raisins 2 Sliced apples From: Date: Wed, 7 Dec 1994 15:49:00 GMT A favorite childhood gingerbread treat: Make your favorite recipe of gingerbread that fits into an 8x8x2 inch baking pan. Melt 2 T. butter in the pan. Add 1/2 C. light molasses and 1/4 C. raisins. Heat above ingredients. Arrange 2 sliced apples in the molasses mixture in the bottom of the pan. Pour gingerbread batter over and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. To serve: While hot, cut into squares and flip servings upside down onto individual dessert plates.
