Whole Wheat Grain Oat Bread
Title: Whole Wheat Grain Oat Bread Categories: Bread, Abm Yield: 1 Loaf 1 1/8 c Water, at 105-110 degrees F 1 tb Butter or margarine 2 tb Molasses or honey 1 1/2 c Whole wheat flour 1/2 c White flour 1/2 c Rolled oats 3/4 c 7-grain cereal 1/4 c Nonfat dried milk powder 1 tb Sugar 1 ts Salt 3 tb Gluten 2 ts Yeast Place ingredients in bread machine in order given (or in reverse order if your machine takes the dry ingredients first). To make in bread machine: process on whole wheat cycle. To bake in oven: process on dough cycle. Remove dough, punch down and shape into loaf. Place in greased bread loaf pan and let rise until doubled, about one hour. Bake in 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes. Remove loaf to cool. Note: Instead of using 7 grain cereal, you can use 8 grain, 9 grain, 12 grain, etc. -- whatever is available where you shop. You can usually find this stuff in grocery stores where they have bins with grains, flours, etc. Option: Add 1/4 sunflower seeds.
