Title: Wild Rice and Mushrooms Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 1 c Uncooked wild rice 4 oz Mushrooms; sliced (1 1/2 c.) 2 Green onions; thinly sliced 2 tb Butter 2 1/4 c Water 1/4 c Dry white wine 1 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 1 c Shredded Monterey Jack -cheese Cook and stir rice, mushroom and onions in butter in 10" skillet over med heat until onions are tender, about 5 min. Stir in water, wine, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until tender, about 40-45 min.; drain if necessary. Stir in cheese.
