Title: Wild Rice and Mushrooms

Yield: 2 Servings

1 c Unsalted;defatted chicken
-broth or water
1/2 c Wild rice
1 c Sliced mushrooms
2 Cloves garlic; finely minced
1 ts Low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 ts Ground black pepper

Pour broth in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients Stir
and reduce heat to low. Cover witha tight-fitting lid and cook for 40
minutes, or until rice is tender. If necessary, remove lid and increase
temperature to evaporate any excess liquid. Serves 2.

This is very good with chicken or with fish. Enjoy Alice
