Title: Boston Brown Bread (Microwave) Categories: Home cookin Yield: 2 Servings 1 1/4 c Whole wheat flour 1 1/4 c Corn meal 1 1/4 c Rye flour 1 ts Baking soda 1/2 ts Salt 2 1/2 c Buttermilk 1 c Dark molasses 1 c Raisins Sift together the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add the buttermilk, molasses and raisins. Mix by hand until well blended. Divide the mixture into 2 parts. Place each in a waxed paper lined baking dish that are 10 x 6 x 1-3/4. Cover each with a plastic wrap. Microwave one loaf at a time on medium (50%) for 22 - 24 minutes. Turn dish a half turn halfway through cooking. Remove plastic wrap.
