Title: Lemon Bread Categories: Bread, Book:, Sweet Yield: 1 Servings 1 c Sugar 1/3 c Butter; melted 1 tb Lemon extract 2 lg Eggs 1 1/2 c All purpose flour 1 ts Baking powder 1 ts Salt 1/3 c Milk 1/3 c Pecans; chopped Grated rind of a lemon Preheat oven to 350ø F. Beat together sugar, butter and lemon extract for one minute. Beat in eggs (one at a time). Add flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk while beating mixture. Fold in lemon rind and nuts. Pour into greased bread pan. Bake in oven at 350ø F. for 60 minutes. Lemon Glaze Ingredients 1/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup lemon juice, fresh squeezed Very simple. Mix together. Pour on bread or anything when hot. Or warm in sauce pan. Let cool a little and drizzle with lemon glaze while bread is still warm.
