1 c Lentils
1/3 c Barley
8 c Water
1 cn (1 lb.) tomatoes
4 Veg bullion cubes (or not)
1/2 ts Marjoram
1 Onion chopped
1/2 ts Thyme
2 Stalks celery, chopped
1 tb Low-sodium tamari
2 Carrots, chopped

back on line. Since it's so cold outside ..here is something to warm you
up! It's modified a little from a McDougall cookbook.

Place all the ingredients on a large soup pot. Cover and cook over low heat
for about 1 hour. This soup is easy to reheat and it freezes well. You can
substitute brown rice for the barley if you wish.
