2 c Sugar
2 c Flour
2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
2 Eggs
2 cn (11 1/2 oz) mandarin oranges

----------------------------------TOPPING----------------------------------
3/4 c Brown sugar
2 tb Butter
3 tb Milk

beat all ingredients for at least 4 minutes by hand. pour into greased and
floured 9x13 inch pan. bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

in the meantime, bring brown sugar, milk and butter to boil. pour over hot
cake as soon as it comes from the oven. when cool, serve with whipped
