Title: Maple Syrup Pie Categories: None Yield: 1 Servings 1/2 c Butter, melted 1 c Heavy maple syrup 1/2 c Brown sugar, firmly packed 1/8 ts Salt 4 Eggs, lightly beaten 1 1/4 c Pecan halves 1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked Sweetened whipped cream Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend together butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in eggs mixing until well blended. Add pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 40-45 minutes until firm. Serve with sweetened whipped cream. Note: For a less rich pie, reduce butter to 1/4 cup.
