Title: Mexican Bean Dip Categories: Appetizers, Beef, Dips, Hot, Tex-mex Yield: 12 Servings 2 Envelopes taco seasoning mix 1 cn (16 oz) refried beans 1/2 lb Lean ground beef 1/2 lb Ground turkey 1/2 lb Shredded cheddar cheese Various accompaniments--; -see directions Brown meats in a large skillet; crumble, drain and prepare according to taco seasoning directions. Heat refried beans in a microwave safe serving dish. Pour the seasoned meat over beans. Top with cheese and microwave until just melted. Sprinkle 1 or more of the following toppings over all: chopped green onions, diced tomatoes, sour cream, chopped black olives, etc. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
