Pineapple Pork Chops
Title: Pineapple Pork Chops Categories: Pork Yield: 2 Servings 1 tb Vegetable oil 4 Boneless pork chops; (3/4" -thick) 1 Clove garlic; finely chopped 1 md Red bell pepper; cut in 1' -PIECES 2 tb Soy sauce 2 tb Dry sherry 1 cn (20 oz.) can pineapple -chunks; reserve liquid 1 tb Water 1 1/2 ts Cornstarch Heat oil in skillet; brown pork chops approximately 6 minutes. Remove chops and set aside. Add garlic and bell peppers; cook 1 minute. Stir in soy sauce, sherry and reserved pineapple liquid. Return chops and let simmer 5 minutes. Stir in pineapple, water and cornstarch. Blend together and simmer for 5 more minutes or until done and sauce is slightly thickened.
