Title: Date Pudding Categories: Super1 Yield: 8 servings 250 g Dates; chopped 2/3 c Boiling water 1 ts Bicarbonate soda 185 g Butter 1 c Brown sugar 2 Eggs 1 c Plain flour 2 tb Brandy 1/2 c NESTLE Sweetened Condensed -Milk 1 c Cream Combine dates, water and bicarbonate soda, stand 30 minutes. Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy, beat in eggs one at a time. Fold in date mixture and sifted flour. Spoon evenly into greased, lined 18 cm x 28 cm lamington pan. Bake in a moderate oven (180C) 35 to 40 minutes, until cooked. Beat brandy, condensed milk and cream until thick. Serve with pudding.
