Title: Fruity Ice Cream Brioche Buns Categories: Food &, Drink Yield: 4 servings 4 Brioche buns; (very fresh) 4 Scoops ice cream; such as -lemon curd ; (* see recipe), ; pistachio or ; strawberry ---------------------------FOR THE FRUIT COMPOTE--------------------------- 350 g Strawberries 3 tb Caster sugar 2 tb Grand Marnier; (or any -favourite ; liqueur) 50 g Shelled pistachio nuts; -chopped Freshly ground or cracked -black pepper 1 For the Compote: Roughly chop the strawberries and sprinkle over the sugar and Grand Marnier. Set aside for a few minutes to marinate. Cut the tops of the brioche, hollow them out and spoon in a scoop of the ice cream. 2 Sprinkle the black pepper generously over the strawberries and spoon the strawberries over the ice cream with the juices.
