Indian Cabbage
Title: Indian Cabbage Categories: Food networ, Food1 Yield: 4 servings 1/2 oz Butter 1 tb Vegetable oil 1 md Onion; sliced 1 1 inch piece fresh root -ginger; peeled and grated 1 1/2 lb Green cabbage; shredded 1 ts Ground turmeric 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Paprika 1 tb Lemon juice 1 ts Garam masala Natural yoghurt for serving; -(optional) Heat a wok or large frying pan until hot, add the butter, oil and the onion and stir fry for 1 minute over high heat, stirring all the time. Add the ginger and continue cooking for a further 1 minute. Add the cabbage with the turmeric, salt and paprika and stir fry for 2 minutes, stirring all the time.
