Title: Missouri Peach And Applesauce Salad

1 c Lemon-lime soda
1 pk Gelatin; peach flavor 3 oz.
1 c Applesauce
1 c Heavy cream
1 tb Sugar
1/8 ts Nutmeg
1/8 ts Vanilla
1 c Peaches; chopped, peeled

In a saucepan, bring soda to a boil. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin
until dissolved. Add applesauce. Chill until mixture mounds slightly when
dropped from a spoon. In a mixing bowl, whip cream with sugar, nutmeg and
vanilla until stiff. Fold into gelatin mixture along with the peaches.
Transfer to a 1 - 1/2 qt. glass bowl. Chill until firm. Source: Taste of
