Pan Shortbread


Title: Pan Shortbread

Yield: 36 Squares

1 c Butter (not margarine)
1/2 c Icing (confectioner's) sugar
2 c All-purpose flour

Combine all three ingredients in large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture
is mealy. Using your hands, mix until you get a smooth ball. Press flat in
ungreased 9x9 inch pan. Poke all over with fork right through to the
bottom. Bake in 300øF oven for 50 to 60 minutes until set and very lightly
golden. Cut into 36 squares while warm. Typed in MMFormat by
