Spicy Bean Soup
Title: Spicy Bean Soup Categories: Bawarch5 Yield: 1 servings 1 c Tomato puree 1/2 c Baked beans; (from can) 1 Capsicum chopped 1 Spring onion with greens -chopped 1 Celery stick chopped 1 Tomato chopped 1 sl Bread toasted and broken to -bits 1 tb Tomato sauce 1 ts Red chilli garlic sauce 1/2 c Boiled rice Salt to taste Pepper to taste 1 ts Butter or oil 3 c Water or vegetable stock Heat butter, add capsicum, spring onion, celery, stir fry till tender. Add beans, tomato, stir for a minute or two. Add puree, stir for further 3-4 minutes. Add stock. Bring to a boil. Add rice. Simmer for 10-12 minutes. Add bread pieces, sauces, salt and pepper.
