1 lb Dried green split peas
3/4 lb Finely diced ham
8 c Pork Stock
1 c Finely diced onion
1 c Finely diced carrots
1 c Finely diced celery
1 ts White pepper
2 c Heavy cream

Soak beans overnight or cover with water in a large soup kettle and boil
for 1 hour. Drain water.

Add all ingredients except cream and simmer until peas and vegetables are
tender. Add cream and heat through. Serve immediately.
