Stir-Fried Garlic Shrimp
Title: Stir-Fried Garlic Shrimp Categories: Holidays, Appetizers, Seafood Yield: 8 Servings 8 cl Of garlic, minced 1/2 c Cilantro, chopped 6 tb Oil 2 lb Large uncooked shrimp,peeled -and deveined, tail shells -left on 1 1/2 c Water 4 tb Anchovy paste (optional) 2 tb Sugar Black pepper Lemon juice Place the garlic, cilantro and 4 tablespoons oil in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and add the garlic mixture. Stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add the shrimp and stir to coat with garlic mixture. Add the water, anchovy paste, sugar and pepper to taste and stir-fry until the shrimp turn pink and curl, about 5 to 8 minutes. Sprinkle with a little lemon juice and serve warm.
