Title: Stir-Fried Quorn with Chinese Blackbeans And Spring Onion Categories: Food networ, Food3 Yield: 4 servings 2 tb Vegetable oil 1 sm Red onion; sliced 1 Red pepper; sliced 1 Garlic clove; crushed 1 Fresh chilli; finely sliced ; (optional) 1 pk Quorn pieces; 300g 1 bn Spring onions; cut into 1 -1/2 inch ; lengths -----------------------------------SAUCE----------------------------------- 2 tb Prepared Chinese black bean -sauce 1 tb Dry sherry 1 ts Sugar 1 ts Cornflour 8 tb Water Heat the oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat. Add the red onion, and pepper and stir fry for 1 minute. Now add the garlic, chilli and Quorn pieces and cook for a further 3-4 minutes until the Quorn pieces have taken a light golden colour. Add the spring onions and cook for 1 minute more. Add the sauce ingredients, allow it to come to the boil and thicken slightly. Serve immediately on rice or noodles.
