Summer Pasta
Title: Summer Pasta Categories: Mr. food, Mrfood1 Yield: 1 servings 1 lb Italian-style turkey -sausage; casing removed 1 lg Onion; chopped 1 Medium-sized green bell -pepper; chopped 2 Garlic cloves; minced 2 cn Diced tomatoes; undrained -(14 1/2 ; ounces each) 1 cn Mushrooms; drained (4 -ounces) 1 ts Italian seasoning 1 ts Chili powder 1 lb Rotini; twists, or spiral ; pasta 1/2 c Shredded mozzarella cheese; -(2 ounces) In a large skillet, cook the sausage, onion, bell pepper, and garlic over medium heat until no pink remains in the sausage. Reduce the heat to low and add the tomatoes, mushrooms, Italian seasoning, and chili powder; simmer for 10 minutes until thoroughly heated. Meanwhile, prepare the pasta according to the package directions; drain, rinse, and drain again. Place the pasta on a large serving platter.
