Baked Stuffed Yams with Chipped Beef

Title: Baked Stuffed Yams with Chipped Beef

1/2 c Dried beef; chopped
1/4 c Hot milk
4 Louisiana yams; baked
2 tb Onion; finely chopped
3 tb Butter or margarine
1/2 c Cheddar cheese; grated

Combine dried beef and milk in mixing bowl. Cut yams in half lengthwise and
scoop out centers. Combine yams, beef-milk mixture, onion, and butter. Beat
until light and fluffy. Fill yam shells with mixture. Sprinkle cheese on
top. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 20 minutes.
