Title: English Toffee
Yield: 1 servings
1 c Butter; (no substitute)
1 c Sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/4 ts Salt
4 oz Melted chocolate
1/2 c Chopped nuts
Over medium heat, cook the first four ingredients for 5 – 7 minutes, until
nut brown. Stir almost constantly.
Pour into a foil-lined pan and spread with melted chocolate then sprinkle
with nuts. Cool and break into pieces.
